I ordered a 30ml bottle of Gourmantic Orange the end of December, 2023. Today is January 22, 2024. My bottle arrived and I sprayed it on. There was barely any scent to it at all and what there was lasted less than five minutes. It seems very oily, too. I’ve tried it several times in the two weeks I’ve had it and it’s not gotten any better. I emailed customer service asking if I can exchange this bottle for another since this one seemed off. They told me there was no such thing as a bad batch of perfume, I should try shaking it before applying (which I’d done several times), and I need to put it aside and let it age and mature. My question was if they made a perfume that needs to sit for a year or so before being at its peak, why were they selling it before it was ready? No reply. The samples I had of this perfume were wonderful. The scent was bright and a couple of squirts lasted all day long, so I’ve experienced what it’s supposed to smell and wear like. Panah pretty much said I’m out of luck, so I’m stuck with a $115 bottle of perfume I cannot use. I’m going to file a complaint with my Visa company and see if they’ll reimburse me since Panah obviously isn’t going to help me. They have no sense of customer satisfaction. If something is wrong, they’ll just keep your money and you’ll be out of luck. I have another scent of theirs which is lovely and I was considering buying another as well. Not anymore, nor would I recommend this company. The lesson here is buy at your own risk.
